Metro Women/Men

Metro League Grading - grading will be introduced across the Football Qld Metro conference for Metro Leagues (formerly City Leagues). The exception to this will be Metro Leagues 1 and 2, who will remain as they are, with loose promotion and relegation, also incorporating nomination confirmation. Metro Leagues 3 and below will partake in four grading rounds to create 8 team divisions, thus providing a total of 18 matches for the regular season.

Metro Women Rochedale Rovers 2026

More than a team – it’s your place to belong

Rovers Metro Women’s program is built for women who love football, community, and a good challenge, whether you’re an experienced player chasing competitive football or someone ready to lace up the boots and try something new in 2026.

With a strong club-wide commitment to growing the female game, our Metro Women’s teams are supported, motivated, and backed by a culture that genuinely looks after its players on and off the pitch.

Metro 2 – Compete, Develop, Progress

After an outstanding 2025 season in Metro 3, finishing runners-up and achieving promotion, our Metro 2 women are hungry, driven, and excited to build on something special.

They train alongside our FQPL 4 Women’s team, providing a high-quality training environment and a genuine pathway into FQPL football.

Metro 6 – Fun, Friendship & Football

Our Metro 6 women are the heart-and-soul crew. If you’re returning to football, starting fresh, or simply want a team that values fun as much as effort - these are your people.

And yes… they’ve got unfinished business in 2026!
